About the recipe:
Based Sweater is knitted from the top down. First the top part of the back piece is knitted, then stitches are picked up along the shoulder seams, the two shoulders are knitted separately before being gathered by casting on stitches mid front. The top part of the front piece is now completed before gathering the work and the body is knitted in the round in stocking stitch. A thin elastic band is inserted into the folded edge of the body, this can be omitted if desired.
