Yarn: 50 gram Based Design Vibes (50 g / 150 m)

Gauge: 18 x 21 sts = 10 x 10 cm measured in brioche sts after washing and steaming

Recommended needles: 4 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles
Optional: The I-corder Bulky for i-cord ties, but a regular circular needle can also be used

About the pattern

Vibes Booties are soft, warm slippers in brioche stitch that fit snugly on the foot without itching. They are worked flat: first a shaped sole, then the upper with neat toe decreases, short rows for a comfortable fit, and a row of eyelets for a tie that keeps the bootie securely in place. A perfect stash-busting project — 50 g of Vibes goes a long way — and they can be matched with the rest of our Vibes series.

The pattern includes 7 sizes, a size guide in cm, and links to techniques. Choose size based on foot length with a bit of negative ease for the best fit. The bootie fits best with 0–0.8 cm negative ease (the yarn relaxes slightly with wear).
